Meet the President
Rick Shockley, President, Financial Core Strategies has over 31 years experience working with community banks, savings associations and credit unions. During his career he has worked for several leading software and service companies in a variety of executive positions; project and conversion management, consulting, marketing, sales and key account management.
His experience includes five years with a Big Eight firm where he led a consulting practice serving the community bank industry. He led over 40 systems evaluation and selection engagements. Each resulted in the client improving their core systems and services while reducing overall costs.
Rick has provided project management and consulting for over 100 bank and credit union conversions in both in-house and on-line environments. His clients have ranged from $3 billion in assets to De Novo institutions.
He has extensive experience in facilitating strategic planning board retreats and on-site planning sessions with a host of financial institutions.
Mr. Shockley is a past chairman and board member of the Credit Union Executive Society’s Financial Suppliers Advisory Forum. He is published on Disaster Recovery Planning in Credit Union Management.
